An Insured is entitled to claim as many times as possible in the course of the policy duration provided he/she has not exceeded the limit (sum insured) of the policy. For instance, if you have a policy with a sum of N250,000 and the first claim is N100,000, you still have coverage of N150,000 for the duration of the policy year.
Assuming you have a second claim to the tune of N200,000 Mansard liability on the policy will only be the remaining N150,000 and that ends the policy at that point. Should you wish to be covered, then the policy can be re-activated by paying a new premium and another policy year starts from that point.
I subscribed for the annual money insurance premium of N6,500, what happens If I have more than one claim in a year of over 300,000? Will I get coverage? Print
