To onboard employees onto Paycheck Payroll using the sample excel template

  • Navigate to the Employees page

  • Click + Import/Update

  • Download sample data file

Note: In the excel template, you are only required to populate the first sheet “Employee Format”. 

The second sheet "Field description" provides a description for the employee data fields.

  • Populate the columns with your employee data. Make sure that you fill in all the Required fields accordingly

  • Save your data and then drag your template to the upload box or click"browse" select the XLS file that you just prepared and click Done to start the import process.

  • Double-check invalid Records and correct the errors  on the summary page

  • Upload and import the rest of the data after correcting the errors.
