Steps Involved in Receiving Funds via an IMTO
The recipient receives an SMS from Paga informing him/her of the funds sent after providing his/her Nigerian phone number to the sender.
To claim and have access to the funds sent, the recipient creates a Paga account via the following channel
The next step is to ensure that the Paga account created is upgraded to KYC 3. This is necessary so as to move the funds from the recipient’s “pending balance” to the main balance”
On the Mobile Application, the recipient clicks on “unlock transaction limits” and uploads a selfie, valid means of Identity (Current International Passport, Current Driving Licence or National Identity Card, Voters card) and proof of address (recent PHCN, Waste or Water bill) for the KYC upgrade.
The recipient can have access to the funds sent after a successful KYC upgrade.
