All employees within Paga have access to the Internet and the facility to send e-mails to people both internally and externally. This represents critical components of our business infrastructure and as such, provide important business tools. However, they also expose the Company and its employees to potentially highly visible and impactful risk. It is therefore crucial that usage of e-mail and internet is carefully managed to ensure the Company is protected and its liability limited. Reasonable personal use is permitted provided the guidelines under usage below are followed.
‘Reasonable’ can be defined as meaning that facilities can be used for brief calls (emails) home and to catch up on newspaper (web) headlines etc. Additional time spent on the Internet may be monitored and queried if deemed excessive.
