All employees should consider at all times whether their actions could be deemed inappropriate or offensive to others. The People Operation department will provide confidential advice if you feel you have been subjected to discrimination or harassment and will provide any assistance required in the resolution of these issues, whether the process necessitates informal or formal measures. Any complaints of discriminatory behaviour will be investigated in accordance with the provisions of the Grievance procedure.

If you believe you have received less favourable treatment on any of the above grounds, you should use the grievance procedure to resolve the matter. The disciplinary procedure will be followed for acts of direct or indirect discrimination in the course of employment against colleagues, job applicants or customers on the above grounds. In serious cases, such discriminatory behaviour will be deemed to constitute gross misconduct and may result in summary dismissal.
