Informal action will be considered in the first instance, where appropriate, to resolve the occurrence of misconduct, breach of discipline or poor job performance. Such action may include but will not be limited to counselling. Employees will not be dismissed for the first breach of discipline unless the performance or conduct issue is deemed sufficiently serious.
Please note: The Company reserves the right to adapt this process if the severity of the circumstances and consequent impact to the business requires it. An employee will have the right to appeal against any disciplinary penalty imposed.
