It is not possible to cover all instances of misconduct or state what the outcome of disciplinary action would be. This depends on the circumstances of each case but will be carried out in line with the stipulated procedure. Listed below are examples of conduct regarded as unacceptable and which will always result in disciplinary action;
- Assault or any other serious acts of sexual, racial, or other harassment or harassment of individuals who have a disability or any other employee engaged by the Company within the workplace.
- Abusive, violent behaviour or fighting at work or at a company function.
- Misuse of the Company’s funds/corporate card.
- Breach of the Company’s confidentiality regulations.
- Falsifying the Company’s documents or expenses claims.
- Accessing internet sites containing pornographic, offensive, or obscene material.
- Unauthorized use or installation of software.
- Unauthorised possession or disposal of company goods or property.
- Theft, vandalism, or wilful damage to the Company’s property.
- Behaviours that are likely to damage the image or interests of the Company to a material extent.
- Gross Insubordination or wilful refusal to comply with Company instructions.
- Sales and/or consumption of alcohol or illegal drugs at work.
- Falsifying Personnel credentials such as academic certificates and credentials.
- Taking, receiving, or requesting a bribe or other inducements whilst carrying out your official duties
- Dealing with the media without prior Paga management approval
- Serious breach of other Company rules.
- Breach of criminal law or regulations
